Our debut large Australian dolls, Jack & Jill, are more than just names. They’re rooted in real Australian wildlife
Large heirloom Australian kangaroo dolls.
Safe from birth. Loved forever.
Tiny Toys. Big Stories. Now in a much bigger hug.
Meet Jack and Jill, the first large heirloom cotton kangaroo dolls designed to grow with your child from the very first day. Their names are not just adorable. In Australia, a male kangaroo is actually called a Jack and a female kangaroo is actually called a Jill. Most people never knew that. Now every child who holds one does. A genuine piece of Australian bush heritage wrapped in the softest cotton imaginable, safe from birth and built to last a lifetime.
100% cotton body, recycled polyester filling, no small parts, no magnets. Jack and Jill are independently tested and safe for newborns from day one. Big enough for newborn cuddles, gentle enough for tiny hands.
Jill has two pouches. One on her body just like a real kangaroo, and one on her yellow floral romper specifically designed to fit any miniature Rugaroo doll. The most Aussie thing we have ever made.
For baby showers, coming home days, first Christmases and overseas visitors who want something genuinely, completely Australian. A handcrafted heirloom doll inspired by Australia's most iconic animal. The gift people cry at.

Rugaroo is a proud Corporate Supporter of WIRES.
Rugaroo began with a little wallaby named Ginger.
Years ago, while living in the Northern Territory, our founder Dana held a wildlife permit and cared for Ginger, an orphaned wallaby whose mum had been hit by a car. For eight months, Ginger came almost everywhere with her, tucked safely into his pouch, until the day he was ready to be released back into the wild.
That little wallaby stayed with her long after he hopped away.
Years later, he became part of the inspiration behind Rugaroo. A little world filled with Australian native animals for children to love, carry with them and create stories around. Even our Rugaroo pouch bags were inspired by those months spent carrying Ginger.
It feels only right that the little animals he helped inspire can now help the real ones too.
