To keep your metal Rugaroo accessories in top shape, handle them with care. Avoid shaking, bashing, or dropping them on hard surfaces, as we use eco-friendly, hand-applied paint that naturally has lower colourfastness. Each piece undergoes a meticulous, labour-intensive process to ensure quality and safety, meeting the highest toy standards. We’ve gone the extra mile to ensure that all of our Rugaroo Kangaroo stuffed iconic Australian dolls meet the highest safety standards. Our toys are thoroughly tested and approved according to international requirements: the TSD (Toy Safety Directive 2009/49/EF) and harmonised EN-71 standard in Europe, the CPSIA (Children’s Product Safety Improvement Act) and ASTM-F963 standard in the USA, and ISO standards in Australia.

Additionally, we comply with the REACH Directive (EC 1907/2006), ensuring that all of our products are free from toxic substances, and the GPSD (General Product Safety Directive), guaranteeing the highest level of safety.

All soft fabric animals (100% fabric) are safe for all ages, including 0-3 years, though some products have a 3+ recommendation due to small parts. Other toys are approved for children over 3 years. The approved age for each toy can be found on its product page.

Our CEO, together with her team, personally sources the materials, designs all of the patterns, and only then does the factory begin production. The factory team is exceptional, ensuring that every detail is meticulously crafted. We also have a dedicated team inspecting each and every doll before they leave the factory to uphold the highest standards.
