83% of Rugaroo customers build a mob, not just buy one. Here is why.
Characters play together. Stories get richer and scenes get bigger when there is more than one character in the world.
Display is better in odd numbers. Three on a shelf tells a story. One is a purchase. Three is a collection.
Almost every Rugaroo customer comes back. For a second, a third, a fourth. Save 15% now and start as you mean to go on.
Magnet safety: Magnetic components are securely sewn within the material. Keep away from children under 3 and pacemaker users.
Meet Col, a 15cm heirloom Australian echidna doll from the Rugaroo collection.
After years travelling every corner of Australia with Riva, Col found the one place he never wanted to leave. Together they built Billabong Bend Campground, where travellers stop for one night and somehow end up staying for a week.
Every morning before the campground stirs, Col quietly heads down the river in his trusty old tinnie, hoping today's the day the barra are biting. Some mornings he catches one. Most mornings he doesn't. Either way, he always comes back with another story.
Nobody is entirely sure how many barra Col has actually caught, because according to him, every single one was "about this big."
He collects the little bits and pieces campers leave behind, tucking them safely away because "they might come in handy one day." Ask Col where the fish are biting and you'll get a twenty-minute story, three fishing tips, and directions to a secret spot nobody else can find.
"Should've seen the barra I caught up near Kununurra."
"The fishing used to be even better."
"Pull up a chair, mate."You should've been here yesterday.
A nostalgic addition to any Rugaroo collection, this heirloom echidna toy is made for curious little adventurers, budding fishermen, and storytellers with big imaginations. A heartfelt gift for children, grey nomads, grandfathers, and anyone who's ever stretched the truth about the size of a fish.
Pairs perfectly with Riva, the echidna stuffed doll and The Tinnie dollhouse scaled boat (sold separately).

THE STORY BEHIND THIS ONE
You choose Col for the child who takes life at their own pace. And for the grown-ups who have learned that is the right speed.
Col is for the steady one. The child who notices things others walk past, who takes their time, and who has quietly claimed the best spot at the campground before anyone else arrived.
He has been chosen for kids who love the outdoors, for families who live for the long weekend away, and for anyone who wants a gift that feels genuinely, unmistakably Australian.
Col owns the campground and the tinnie. Riva has been spotted in both. Col has not said anything about it yet.
"The only Australian animal with spines, a beak, and absolutely no patience for being rushed."
The Rugaroo Echidna Collection is our most surprising series. Two characters. Two stories. Small pieces of Australian identity, thoughtfully crafted into heirloom dolls made to be kept, loved and passed on.
Col is also a meaningful Australian gift for visiting friends and family. Not something that gets tucked away, but something that travels home carrying a story of Australia with it.
He is not just a doll. He is a story about patience, quiet confidence and the magic of knowing exactly where you belong.
FOR THE DOLLHOUSE AND SMALL-WORLD PLAY COMMUNITY
Australia's most surprising native animal, reimagined as a meaningful Australian gift.
The echidna is one of only two egg-laying mammals on Earth, and the only one most Australians have never really stopped to think about. Spiny, slow, and entirely unbothered by the world around them, they have been quietly going about their business in this country for millions of years.
The Rugaroo Echidna Collection brings them to life in miniature. Two characters, each grounded in Australian identity, carefully crafted into heirloom dolls made for small world play, dollhouse storytelling and imaginative play that lasts. Pieces made to be kept, gifted and passed on.
For visiting friends and family, for collectors, or for the child who loves the unexpected, this is a gift that feels truly Australian. Thoughtful, lasting and full of story.
