About the optional foot stand — please read before installing
We strongly recommend not installing the foot stand. It is purely aesthetic and completely optional — the slide works perfectly without it. If installed incorrectly, the buckles WILL snap. Damage caused during installation is not eligible for exchange or replacement.
If you do choose to install it, please watch our step-by-step video first and follow these instructions carefully:
Insert the foot stand horizontally, applying gentle pressure toward the side of the slide
Do not insert diagonally or push upward toward the slide board
Take your time and apply light, even pressure only

What age is The Slide suitable for?
The Slide is independently tested and certified to ISO, EN71 and ASTM F963 standards. It is recommended for children aged 3 and over due to small parts. Adult supervision is recommended during play.
Which Rugaroo dolls are compatible with The Slide?
The Slide is compatible with every miniature Rugaroo kangaroo, koala, platypus and black swan doll. No magnetic hands are required. Every miniature character in the Rugaroo collection can use The Slide, including Sandy, Shaz and Joey who do not have magnets. Please note The Slide is designed for the miniature Rugaroo dolls and is not sized for the large My First Mate dolls.
What is the optional foot stand and should I install it?
The Slide was originally designed and launched without the foot stand. We added it later purely as an aesthetic detail for styling and display. We strongly recommend not installing it. The brackets can snap easily due to the small welding if installed incorrectly. The Slide works perfectly and looks beautiful without it, exactly as it was originally designed. If you do choose to install it, insert it horizontally applying gentle pressure toward the side of the slide only. Never insert it diagonally or push toward the slide board as this places stress on the bottom buckle and may cause it to snap. Will The Slide develop marks over time?
Natural marks or patina may develop with use, adding unique character to each piece. This is completely normal and part of the heirloom nature of the Rugaroo Miniature Playground. Each piece becomes more beautifully individual with time and play.
How do I care for The Slide?
Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth. Avoid submerging in water. Handle with care and avoid dropping or applying excessive pressure. As a handmade miniature, slight variations are normal and part of what makes each piece unique.
Is The Slide compatible with dollhouse environments?
Yes. At 25cm x 17cm and approximately 1:6 to 1:8 scale, The Slide is perfectly sized for most dollhouse environments, nursery shelves and styled play scenes. It pairs beautifully with the full Rugaroo Miniature Playground collection.
