A heartwarming Aussie tale about patience, care, and the quiet magic of growing something slowly.
When Dusty the Koala plants a mango seed, he’s ready for fruit - fast. But when nothing happens (and then keeps on not happening), his friends gently show him that some things take time… and love… and a whole lot of waiting.
This beautifully illustrated picture book celebrates the power of showing up, the value of investing in today for a better tomorrow, and the quiet joy of watching something grow, inside the soil and ourselves. With warmth, humour, and a touch of Aussie sunshine, it’s a story that reminds kids (and grown-ups) that slow things are often the sweetest.
Perfect for bedtime, story time, or any time life feels a little too rushed.
🌿 Printed in Australia on recycled paper, this book brings the Rugaroo characters to life, inspiring care, connection, and slow-growing joy.
